Letters Patent, Indenture or Indentures, under the Great Seal of Great Britain hereafter to be made, to give and grant unto their Royal Highneffes the Princefs Amalie, the Princefs Caroline, the Princefs Mary and the Princefs Lovisa, and the Survivors and Survivor of them, or to fuch other Perfon or Perfons as his Majefty (hall think fit to be named in fuch Letters Patent, Indenture or Indentures, and his or their Heirs, during the Lives of their faid Royal Highneffes, and the Life of the Survivor of them, in Truft for their faid Royal Highneffes, and the Survivors or Survivor of them, fubject to fuch Contingencies and Determination as to the Whole or Part thereof, as are or is herein after mentioned and provided, one other Annuity or yearly Rent or Sum of twenty four thoufand Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain; which Annuity or yearly Rent or Sum of twenty four thoufand Pounds (hall commence and take Effect from the Day of the Demife of his Majefty (whom God long prefei ve) and (hall be paid and payable at the faid four moft ufual Feafts or Days T ,e fo 'kT5 r °f Payment in the Year by even and equal Portions; the firft Payment thereof to be made at fuch the Revenue" of or " the feid Feaft Days which (hall next happen after the Demife of his faid Majefty; and that the the Poft-office, ("aid Annuity or yearly Rent or Sum. of fifteen thoufand Pounds (hall and may by fuch Let- ters Patent, Indenture or Indentures, be directed to be, and (hall be iffuing and payable out of, and charged and chargeable upon all and every the Revenues and Monies arifing and to arife by virtue and in purfuance of the faid Act of the ninth Year of her faid late Majefty 's Reign, intitu- led, An Aft for eftablijhing a General Poft-office for all her Majejly's Dominions, and for fettling a weekly Sum out of the Revenues thereof, for the Service of the War, and other her Majefty's Occafions; or by virtue or in purfuance of any Provifo, Claufe, Matter or Thing therein contained, or of any other Act or Acts of Parliament thereby referred to; the weekly Sum of feven hundred Pounds mentioned in the faid Act of the ninth Year of her faid late Majefty's Reign, during fuch Time as the faid weekly Sum is to continue, and any other Monies by that Act appointed to be referved for the Ufe the latter on the f ine Publick, always excepted and foreprized : And that the faid Annuity or yearly Rent or Sum cife! ' Ury X " °f twenty-four thoufand Pounds (hall and may by fuch Letters Patent, Indenture or Indentures, be directed to be, and (hall be iftuing and payable out of, and charged and chargeable upon the here- ditary Rates and Duties of Excife upon Beer, Ale and other Liquors, which were granted to the Crown by an Act of Parliament of the twelfth Year of the Reign of his late Majefty King Charles the Second, intituled, An Aft for taking away the Court of Wards and Liveries, and Tenures in Capite, and by Knights Service, and Purveyance; and for fettling a Revenue on his Majefty in lieu thereof; or which fhall arife, or are payable by virtue of any other Act or Acts relating thereto. Provifo. HI. Provided always, That nothing in this Act contained, or to be contained in fuch Letters Pa- tent, Indenture or Indentures as aforefaid, ihall extend to hinder or obftruct the Payments of the weekly Sum of three thoufand feven hundred Pounds, or the yearly Sum of fifteen thoufand fevea hundred fifty-nine Pounds, nineteen Shillings and four Pence, by former Acts of Parlament charged upon the faid Rates and Duties of Excife, or fome of them, or the Application thereof to the re- fpective Ufes intended by fuch former Acts concerning the fame; any thing herein contained to the contrary notwithstanding. Deficiency of ' IV.
