An Aft for empowering Truftees to fecure and dif- pofe of certain Effects, mentioned in the Will of Ni- cholas Hooper Efquire, deceafed, for the Benefit of the Children of John Baffin Efquire, to whom they are bequeathed. 22. An Aft for Sale of the fettled and unfettled Eftates of William Parry Efquire, and for purchafing another Eftate of equal Value with the fettled Eftate, to be fettled to the fame tills, and for other Purpofes therein mentioned. 23. An Act for impowering Edward Gould Efquire, and William Gndd Clerk, to make Jointures upon their re- fpeftive Marriages, out of the Eftate devifed to them by the Will of Sir Edward Gould Knight, deceafed. 24. An Act to raife the Militia of that Part of Great Bri- tain called England, although the Month's Pay for- merly advanced hath not yet been repaid ; and to raife fuch Part of the faid Militia, as fhall be judged moft proper, ready, and convenient. 3. An Aft to enable his Majefty to make Rules, Orders, and Regulations, more efteftually to prevent the fpread- ing of the Diftemper which now rages amongft the Horned Cattle in this Kingdom. 6. An Act for eftablifhing an Agreement with the Go- vernor and Company of the Bank of England, for can- celling certain Exchequer Bills upon the Terms therein mentioned ; and for.obiiging them to advance the Sum of one million upon the Credit of the Land Tax and Malt Duties granted to his Majefty for the Service of the Year one thoufand feven hundred and forty-fix. 7. An Act for adjourning the Court of Seffion in Scot- land; and for remedying the Inconveniencies arifing from the Surceafe of Juftice in that Part of the King- dom. 8. An Act for repealing fo much of an Aft palled in the eleventh Year of the Reign of his late Majefty King George the Firft, intituled, An Act for regulating Elec- tions within the City of London ; and for preferving the Peace, good Order, and Government of the faid City ; as relates to the making or palling of Afts, Orders, or Ordinances in Common Council. 9. An Act to enlarge the Time for Juftices of the Peace to take and fubferibe the Oath direfted by an Aft made in the laft Seffion of Parliament, intituled, An Ail to amend and render more effectual an Ail pa/Jed in the fifth Tear of his prefent Majcjly s Reign, intituled, An Aft for the further Qualification of Juftices of the Peace. 14.
