Arid it is hereby further enacted, That if any Mafter or Miftrefs of any fuch Clerk, Appren- mCierks, Ap- t j ce or Servant refpectively, fhall neglect to pay the faid Rates and Duties fo charged by the faid former itev'the Duties' AftSj or either of them, within the refpective Times therein limited in that Behalf,, whereby the PenaU .^Indentures, ties or forfeitures incurred by virtue of this Act, will become charged upon, and be payable by them re- Ifnrit paid by fpectively ; and any fuch Clerk, Apprentice or Servant refpectively, fhall, and do in that Cafe pay, or Mates, &c. caufe to be paid, the Rates and Duties charged by the faid former Acts,/ -or either of them ; and alfo the Penalties and Forfeitures inflicted and incurred by this- prefenfc Act, at any Time within one Year after the fame fhall fo refpectively become charged, incurred, and made payable by virtue of this Act as afore- faid (fuch Mafter or Miftrefs riot having then paid, the faid Rates, Duties, Penalties and Forfeitures re- fpectively, although required by fuch Clerk, Apprentice or Servant fo to do) ; then, and in fuch Cafe, it fhall and may be lawful to and for any fuch Clerk, Apprentice, or Servant, within three Months after fuch Payment of the faid Rates, Duties, Penalties, and Forfeitures refpectively, by him, her, or them, as aforefaid, to demand of his or her Mafter or Miftrefs, or his, her or their Executors or Adminiftrators, fuch Sum or Sums of Money, as was or were paid to fuch Mafter or Miftrefs, for or in refpect of fuch •Clerkfhip, Apprenticefhip or Servitude ; and in Cafe fuch Sum or Sums of Money ihall not be paid with- in three Months after fuch Demand thereof made, it fhall and may be lawful to and for any fuch Clerk, Apprentice or Servant, .to fue for and recover the fame, with full Cofts of Suit, againft fuch Mafter or Miftrefs, his, her or their Executors or Adminiftrators, by Action of Debt, Bill, Plaint or Information, in any of his Majefty's Courts of Record at JFc/lminfter, wherein no Effoin, Protection, Wager of Law, or more than one Imparlance fhall be allowed ; anil every fuch Clerk, Apprentice or Servant, fhall and may immediately ^fter Payment of fuch Rates, Duties, Penalties and Forfeitures, as aforefaid, be difcharged from his, her or their Clerkfhip, Apprenticefhip, and Service refpectively ; and from all Actions, Penalties, ■ .Forfeitures and Darnages, for not ferving the Time, for which he, the or they were refpectively bound, contracted for, or agreed to ferve fuch Mafter or Miftrefs refpectively.
