Anno decimo nono Georgii IL C. 31. 685 S much Money (if any fuch be) of the Duties thereby granted, as (hall arife or remain after all the Loans or Exchequer Bills made or to be made on the fame Act, and all the Intereft, Premium, Rate and Charges thereon, and the Charges thereby allowable for raifing the faid Duties (hall be Satisfied, or Money fufficient (hall be referved in the Exchequer to difcharge the fame; and alfo all the Mo- nies coming into the Exchequer by Sale of Annuities, after the Rate of four Pounds per Centum Annuities, •er Annum., and by Contributions by way of a Lottery, upon one other Act of this Scffion of Parliament, (intituled, An Acl for granting to his Majefy feveral Rates and Duties upon Glafs, and and Duties upon upon Spirituous Liquors ; and for raifing a certain Sum of Money by Annuities and a Lottery, to be Glafs > &c - charged on the faid Rates and Duties ; and for obviating feme Doubts about making out Orders at the Exchequer, for the Monies advanced upon the Credit oj the Salt Duties, granted and continued to his Majefy by an Acl of the lajl Seffion of Parliament ; ) and alfo the Sum of one million five hun- dred thoufand Pounds, by this Act granted, (hall be further appropriated and applied, and are here- appropriated, by appropriated for and towards the feveral Ufes, Intents and Purpofes herein after expreffed (that is to fay) XV. It is hereby enacted and declared, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies afore- faid, there (hall and may be iffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding two 2,294,048 1. i6sv million two hundred ninety-four thoufand forty-eight Pounds fixteen Shillings and three Pence, for 3 d - towards or towards the naval Services herein after more particularly expreffed ; (that is to fay) For or to- services" 11 wards defraying the Charge of the Ordinary of his Majefty's Navy, and for Half-pay to Sea Offi- cers, and for or towards Victuals, Wages, Wear and Tear of the Navy, and the victualling there- of, performed and to be performed ; and for or towards Sea Services in the Office of Ordnance, performed and to be performed ; and for or towards carrying on the Building of the intended Hofpital for fick and wounded Seamen at Gofport, for the Year one thoufand (even hundred and forty-fix. XVI. And it is hereby alfo enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That out of all or any the Aids Or Supplies provided as aforefaid, there (hall and may be iffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding ninety-fix thoufand four hundred feventy-eight Pounds nineteen Shillings and two 96,478 1. 19 9. Pence, for the Freight of Tranfports, between the firft Day of January one thoufand feven hun- 2 d - for Fmghfr dred and forty-four, and the thirty-firft Day of December one thoufand feven hundred and forty- of Tranf P orts - five; and any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding fifty-four thoufand feven hundred fifty- 5475 , 1. 9 s . three Pounds nine Shillings and three Pence Halfpenny, for the Expence of Victuals provided 3 <f. Forces; XVII. And it is hereby alfo enacted, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies as aforefaid, there fhall and may be iffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money not exceeding ten thoufand Pounds, 10,0001. to upon Account, towards the Support of the Royal Hofpital at Greenwich, and for the better Main- pr eenwicn Ho * tenance of the Seamen of the faid Hofpital, worn out and become decrepit in the Service of their pIta ' Country. XVIII. And it is hereby alfo enacted, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies as aforefaid, there (hall and may be iffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding four hundred 444,319 1. 19s.- twenty-two thoufand three hundred nineteen Pounds nineteen Shillings and fix Pence, for or towards offi C e° f he defraying the Charge of the Office of Ordnance for Land Service, for the Year one thoufand feven Ordnances- hundred and forty-fix, performed and to be performed ; and for defraying the extraordinary Expence of the Office of Ordnance for Land Service, not provided for by Parliament. XIX. And it is hereby likewife enacted, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies provided as aforefaid, there fhall and may be iffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money, not ex- ceeding two hundred and fix thoufand two hundred fifty-three Pounds and fifteen Shillings, for 406,4511. 15 s.' defraying the Charge of eleven thoufand five hundred and fifty Marines, (Commiffion and Non- t0 the Marines;- commiffion Officers included) to be employed for the Year one thoufand feven hundred and for- ty-fix. . XX. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That out of all or any the Aids- or Sup^ plies provided as aforefaid, there (hall and may be iffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding one million two hundred ninety-eight thoufand one hundred Pounds fourteen Shillings g loo] , 4S .. and feven Pence, for defraying the Charge of forty-nine thoufand two hundred and twenty-nine er- 7'd. to the LandV fective Men, for his Majefty's Land Forces, including Commiffion and Non-commiffion Officers, and Forces. one thoufand eight hundred and fifteen Invalids, to be employed for the Service of the Year one thou- fand feven hundred and forty-fix. XXI. Provided neverthelefs, That out of the faid Sum of one million two hundred ninety-eight thoufand one hundred Pounds fourteen Shillings and feven Pence, there fhall and may be iffued a d' applied any Sum, not exceeding thirty-fix thoufand eight hundred fixty-four Pounds nine Shillings 36,2641. qs. ydi- and feven Pence, for defraying the Charge of Garifons in Great Britain, Guernfey and Jerfey, for t0 Gamfons - the Year one thoufand feven hundred and forty-fix ; and the further Sum of thirty thoufand Pounds 30,000 1. for upon Account, for Contingencies of the Army, for the Year one thoufand feven hundred and ^ "^Army* ' forty-fix.
