Wales, or Berwick, or payble or fecured to be paid, by any Perfon or Perfons whatfoever in England, Wales, or Berwick (not being or ifTuing out of any Lands, Tenements, or Hereditaments, or charged, upon the fame, touching which other Directions are given by this Act ; and not being Annuities or yearly Payments, which, by any Act or Acts of Parliament made, or to be made, are or fhall be efpecially ex- empted from the Payment of Taxes or Aids) fhall, towards raifing the faid refpective Sums before by this Act charged upon the refpective Counties, Cities, Boroughs, Towns, and other Places of England, Wales, or Ber- wick, as aforefaid, yield and pay unto his Majefty the Sum of four Shillings for every twenty Shillings by the Year, for every fuch Annuity, Penfion, Stipend, or yearly Payment refpedtively, and after that Rate for one whole Year: The faid feveral Rates and Sums of Money hereby granted, to be aliened, impofed, • , ™ levied, and collected in fuch manner as herein after is mentioned. mems' Mines' ^ • ' And to the end the full and entire Sum by this Act charged upon the feveral Counties, Cities, &c ' Boroughs, Towns, and Places refpedtively, of England, Wales, and Berwick as aforefaid, may be fully ' and completely raited and paid to his Majefty's Ufe ;' Be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That alt and every Manors, MefTuages, Lands, and Tenements; and alfo all Quarries, Mines of' Coal, Tin and Lead, Copper, Mundick, Iron, and other Mines ; Iron-mills, Furnaces, and other Iron- works; Salt-fprings, and Salt-works; all Allom Mines and Works; all Parks, Chaces, Warrens^ Woods, Underwoods,. Coppices, and all Fifhings, Tithes, Tolls, Annuities, and all other yearly Profits; and all Hereditaments, of what Nature or Kind foever they be, fituate, lying, and being, happening or arifing, within the feveral and refpective Counties, Cities, Boroughs, Towns, or Places aforefa.d refpedt- ively, or within any Parts of the fame, as well within ancient Demefne, and other Liberties and privi- leged Places, as without, within that Part of Great Britain called England, Wales, or Berwick, as afore- faid ; and all and every Perfon and Perfons, Bodies Politick and Corporate, Guilds, Myfteries, Fraterni- ties, and Brotherhoods, whether Corporate or not Corporate, having or holding any fuch Manors, Meflu-
