- The eight forms of poverty are the absence or negation of the eight sources of fruition or enjoyment. These are பெண் women; ஆடை apparel; அணிகலன் jewels; போசனம் food; தாம்பூலம் betel; பரிமளம் perfumes; பாட்டு songs; பூவமளி reclining on flowers.
