i, The fourth letter in the Telugu alphabet. 2. The indeclinable proximate demonstrative pronoun, This : as ఈతల్లి italli, This mother. ఈకొడుకులు ikodukulu, These sons.

ఈండ్రవాడు indravadu, 5. A toddydrawer; any individual of that caste whose profession it is to extract the juice of the date palmyra, or cocoa-nut tree. They are otten employed as palankeen bearers.

ఈకడ ikacla, adv. vide ఇక్కడ ikkada.

ఈకు iku, v. n. ride ఇంకు inku.

ఈకువ ikuva, s. Dampness, wetness.

ఈకె ike, s. A feather.

ఈకె ike, pro. Fern, vide ఈపె ipo.

ఈగ iga, *, A fly. ఈగపులి igapuli, A spider. ఈగలుముసురుకొన్నవి igalu- musurukonnavi, The flies fixed or settled, lit. Covered.

ఈగి fgi, s. Giving ; a gift. 2. Generosity, vide ఈవి ivi, and ఇచ్చు itstsu.

ఈగు igu, p. a. To lose. v. n. To be subordinate or subject to another.

ఈచచేతుల itsachetula, adj. Lean- armed, wither-arrned.

ఈచుకపోవు itsukapovu, v. n. To miscarry, to have a premature birth. This word is applied to animals only, not to the human species.

ఈటె ite, s. A spear ; a barbed dart.

ఈడ ida, adv. Here, vide ఇక్కడ ikkada, ఈడబోవు idabovu, To retire, to retreat.

ఈడిగిలబడు idigilabadu, v. n. To stop or halt, from weariness in walking.

ఈడిగెవాడు idigevadu, s- vide ఈండ్రవాడు indravadu.

ఈడు idn, s. Age. 2. Time of life. 3. Puberty. 4. Pawn, mortgage.

ఈడుచు iclntsu, ^. a. ఈడ్చు idtsu.

ఈడుముంత idumunta, s. An earthen pot, in which milk is ustiall}* drawn from the cow.

ఈడేరు ideru, v. n. To reach the age of puberty. 2. To be effected, accomplished, or fulfilled. ఈడేర్చు iderstu, v. a. To fulfil, accom- plish, or effect.

ఈడ్చు idtsu, v. a. To draw, pull, or drag. ఈడుపు, ఈడ్పు iclupu, idpu, Pulling, dragging, 2. Hard breathing previous to death. 3. A pain in the side. 4. The contraction of a limb.
