Bye-Laws
So long as the Pourashava deems it practicable and consistent “ill: the maintenance of an efficient water supply. any owner or occupier of a holding paying water rate 'may be allowed to lay down water connection pipe frornthe water supply distribu< tion pipes of the Pourashava for the purpose at leading water to such holding for domesticandother purposes subject to the following Bye-Laws:
l. The owner or occupier of any holding requiring water connection pipe to be laid on to such holding for domestic purposes or rcquirng any addition or alteration to any existing water supply must apply for the same to the Water Works on the printed form to be supplied free of cost at the Water Works Office.
2. (a) A fee for the water connection at the following scale depending on the size of the ferrule, must be paid by such owner or occupier for each connection before any work is commonced:

On receipt of the above requisite fee, the Pourn- shave shall undertake the responsibility of extending the water pipe line up tethe property line of the applicant including supply of ferrule, pipe, fittings, etc.. for connection up to I" size subject to the condition that such property line will be within 30' fcl from the centre of the road.
The extra cost on account ofconnection ot'pipes fittings. etc., includin labour charges beyond 30' from the centre of the road shall be paid by the applicant at actual cost of labour plus my, for over-bend expense.

((2) For conversion from small size to large din. water connection; the owner or occu icr shall pay the amount equal to the difierence 0|; fees for Such connections.
3. For temporary water connection for a period not' exceeding one month, the connection fees shall remain the same as mentioned in the previous section. except in cues of temporary water connection of public welfare nature such as scouts and other rallies, important religious and political gathering, sports meets and other important public or State functions in which cases the following concessional rates may be charged as connection fee with mixi- mum of one inch size connection:

4. The owners or occupiers of holding having water connections shall pay the following water charges in addition to the usual water rate payable along- with conservancy, lighting rates, ctc., levied by this Ponrasbava:
(a) For a Water connection to a holding for domestic, commercial or industrial pur- poses the following monthly Water con- sumtion charges shall be payable:
