He was M.P. for Kilbeggan, 1647. He m. firstly, 12 Nov. 1648, Hose, 2nd da. of Sir James WABE of Macestowu, eo. Dubliu. She, who was h. 10 Jan. 162", d. 20 Dee. 1640 and was bur. :it S. Wcrburgh's. Dublin. He m. secondly,!) Elizabeth, widow of Francis Dehenzie, alias Ke.vne of Tineerosse, in King's County. He was found a lunatic in 1670 and the custody of his person was committed to his wife, Elisabeth, 1 March 1674/5. J Earldom [I.] III. P.O. [I.] He ra., at Barbados, Margaret, da. of (— ) Trant, Gov. of that island, by (— ), sister of the celebrated Sir Richard Steele. She d., 5 Aug. 1737, aged 40. Barony [I.] VI. 5 and 6. Ford (Lambart), Earl of Cav as, &C, [I.] 2d but 1st surv. s. and h. He was b. 1718 and took his I seat in the House of Lords [I.], 4 Oct. 1743. He m. y 1741 24 March 1741/2, Elizabeth, da. of James Wale of Dubliu. She d. in Dublin, 4 Oct. 1766. He d. s.p.m., 20 Sep. 1772.C) aud was bur. at St. Michael's, Dublin. (") There is an entry in the Registers of S. Audoen's, Dubliu, under 17 July 1660 of the burial of " Lord Lambert." This may refer to him or possibly to his s., Hon. Charles Lambart, said to have d. 2 June 16G0 ;ct 23 and to have been bur. the 9th at S. Patricks. See " Lodge," Vol. i, p. 357. (5>) There is a lie. at the Fae. office, 20 Nov. 1660 for him (then aged 36 and a widower) to marry Amphillis Wray of St. Giles in the fields, about 25, at Lincoln's Inn or Gray's Inn Chapel. No such marriage however appears to have taken place. (°) So called iu " Lodge," but his style would more correctly have been " Viscount Kilcoursie."
