Henry Lambart, by Dorothea, da. of Thomas HlGOlSON of Purtuuma, co. Galway, which Henry, was next br. to Richard the 4th Karl. He was Lieut-Gen. in the Army anil Col. of the 15th Foot. He took his seat in the House J of Lords [I.], 14 Oct. 1773. He m., firstly, about 10 Feb. 1745/0, Sophia, yst. da. and coheir of (his Father's br.) the Hon. Oliver Lambart, by Frauees,(") sometime mistress to John (Sheffield), Dike of Buckingham. She d. s.p. and was bur., 18 .May 1719, at Westm. Abbey, aye 32, M.I. He m., secondly, 18 Nov. 1762, Elizabeth, 1st da. and coheir of William Da vies, a Commissioner of the Navv. He d. - Nov. 1774, and was bin: at St. Patrick's, Dublin. His widow d. 27 Feb. '1811. He commanded a division in Egypt, in 1800, under Sir Ralph Abercrombie, becoming finally a Gen. in the Army, and Col. of the 45th Foot. Knight of the Crescent in Turkey ; Gov. of Calshot Castle, &c. He m., firstly, 8 July 1782, at St. Marylcbonc, Midx., Himora Margaretta, yst. da. and coheir of Sir Henry Gould, one of the Justices of the Common Plea*, by Elizabeth, da. of Rev. William Walker, Preb. of Wells. She d., 1 Oct. 1813. He m., secondly. 11 Aug. 1S14, Lydia, 2d da. of William Aunold of Slatwoods, Isle of Wight, by- Martha, da. of John Dklaiield. He (/., 21 Nov. 1837, in his 74th year, at Stanhope Place, Hyde Park, Midx. His widow d., 7 Feb. 1802, aged 7S, at Tunbridge Wells.
