A line equestrian statue of him by Onslow Ford was erected at Knightsbridge in 1895 ; the Duke ol Wellington at Aldershot, at Hyde Park Corner and at the Royal Exchange, and Lord Napier of Magdala in Waterloo place (1891) being, it is believed, the only other persons (exclusive of the Hoyal Family) who, in England, have hitherto (lt>96) been similarly honoured.
