He d. 23 and was bur. 29 Oct. 1673, at Limited, his bowels having been interred on tlie 21th, at St. Andrew's, Holborn, aged nbcmt 52. His widow, by whom he had no issue, it. at St. James', Westni. ( cl ) Lady Mary Montagu, somewhat unfeelingly, writes, Feb. 1724 — " Among our acquaintance things strangely are carried, Lord Tenham is shot ; Mrs. Strickland is married."
