ſtant Rent, and Dewty, to be payed to his Majeſty, and his Succeſſours, forth of the Teinds of the Kingdom, Except as is excepted in the said Act, and with the qualities, reſtrictions, and proviſions mentioned in the said Act, which is of the date the ſaid 29. of May 1627. years, Together with the ſaid other Act, made upon the ſaid 29. Day of June 1627. Years, whereby the Determination of the rates, quality, and prices, of Teinds of other Men's Lands is referred to his Sacred Majeſty. AND FOR SAMEIKLE as there was a General Submiſſion drawn up concerning the premiſſes, which was ſubſcribed be the moſt part of the Titulars, and Heretours of the Kingdom, And that a few number deferred to ſubſcribe the ſaids Submiſſions, upon pretence that the Arch-Biſhops, Biſhops, Parſons, Vicars, and others of the Clergy of the Kingdom who had Right to the Teinds, had not ſubſcribed the ſaids ſubmiſſions, which Impediment is now removed, In reſpect the Arch-Biſhops, and Biſhops, have ſubſcribed a ſeveral ſubmiſſionto his Majeſty, In ſo farre as concerns the Teinds pertaining to the Biſhopriks. AND his Majeſty being willing, and reſolved, to have ane univerſal order eſtabliſhed within the whole Kingdom, anent the matter of Teinds, and that every Heretour ſhall have, and bruick his own Teinds, of whatſoever nature the ſaid Teinds be, and to whatſoever Benefice the ſame pertains, at a competent Rate, and Price, THEREFORE his Majeſty be his Letter, and Warrand, direct to the Commiſſioners for Teinds, of the date the day of laſt by-paſt, hath ſignified his Majeſties Gracious will and pleaſure; That all Titulars of Teinds, pertaining to whatſoever Kirk, or Benefice, and als all Heretours of Lands, the Teinds whereof pertains to the ſaid Benefices, or Kirk ſhall ſubſcribe a general ſubmiſſionto his Majeſty in referring to his Majeſty the price, rate, and quantity of whatſoever Teinds of other Men's Lands: WHICH Letter being read, and conſidered be the ſaids Commiſſioners for Teinds, They be their Act of the date the day of December laſt by-paſt, have in all Humility acknowledged his Majeſties Gracious, and Fatherly Care, for the Good of his Ancient Kingdom, and have allowed, and approven the ſaid Letter, and Interponed their aurhority thereto. And all the ſaids Perſons being moſt ready, and willing, in all humility, ſubmiſſion, Promptitude, and Alacrity of Mind, to give Obedience to his Majeſties deſire for the Publick well of the Kingdom. THEREFORE They all of certain knowledge, and proper motive, have ſubmitted to his Sacred Majeſty, All and ſundrie Teinds, that they, or any of them have of other mens Lands, be whatſoever Right, or Title, they poſſefſ, or enjoy the ſame, and how they may be denuded Omni habili modo quo de jure, And in like manner do ſubmit to his Majeſty, to appoint the rate, and quantity of Teinds, and what prices ſhall be given for the ſame, and what ſecurity ſhall be made of the Teinds of other Mens Lands, to the Heretours, and Poſſeſſours thereof, in such form as may stand by Law: And all the ſaids Perſons are content, and conſents, that his Sacred Majeſty give forth his pleaſure, and Determination, anent the premiſſes refered to his Majeſty in manner foreſaid, betwixt the day, and date hereof, and the laſt day of December 1629. years: With power alſo to his Majeſty to prorogat the time of the giving forth of his ſaid Determination, to whatſoever day, or dayes thereafter, as ſhall ſeem good to his Majeſty, out of his Royall Wiſdom. Likeas all the ſaids Perſons, Binds, and Oblidges them, their Heirs, and Succeſſours, in all Humiiity to obtemper, fulfill, and obey, his Majeſties ſaid Determination, they receiving perfect, and Lawful ſecurities, conform to the Tenour of his Majeſties Commiſſion foreſaid, and als receiving real payment of that which ſhall be Ordained by his Majeſty, before they denude themſelves, either of Right, or Poſſeſſion of the ſaids Teinds, and that, at, or within ſuch time, or times as his Majeſty ſhall appoint be his ſaid Determination. AND for the more ſecurity, all the ſaids Perſons, and every one of them, are content, and conſents, that thir preſents, with his Majeſties Determination to follow hereupon, ſhall be inſert, and Regiſtrat in the Books of Council. and Seſſion, and ſhall have the ſtrength of a Decreet of the Lords thereof, and Execution to paſs thereupon, in form as effeirs, and the Horning to paſs one a ſimple charge of Ten dayes allennerly, And to that effect makes, and Conſtituts

Their Procuratours to compear, and conſent to the Regiſtration thereof, in manner fore ſaid. In Witneſs whereof (Written be William Ferguſon Writter,) All the ſaids perſons have Subſcribed thir preſents, with their hands, day, year, and place foreſaids. Before thir Witneſses &c.
