The engraved title to the Songs of Innocence, when published either as a separate work, or in conjunction with the Songs of Experience, In the earlier, as well as in the later issue, this plate is printed on the recto of the leaf, with verso blank, facing the engraved frontispiece of the piper, which is printed on the verso of the preceding leaf (recto blank).
