PUBLIC LAW 101-358—AUG. 10, 1990 104 STAT. 419 Public Law 101-358 101st Congress An Act To authorize the Board of Regents of Gunston Hall to establish a memorial to Gteorge Aug. 10, 1990 Mason in the District of Columbia. [S. 1543] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. AUTHORITY TO ESTABLISH MEMORIAL. Public buildings and grounds. (a) IN GENERAL.— The Board of Regents of Gunston Hall is au- 40 USC 1003 thorized to establish a memorial on Federal land in the District of note. Columbia or its environs to honor George Mason. (b) CoMPUANCE WITH STANDARDS FOR COMMEMORATIVE WORKS. — The establishment of the memorial shall be in accordance with the Act entitled "An Act to provide standards for placement of commemorative works on certain Federal lands in the District of Columbia and its environs, and for other purposes", approved November 14, 1986 (40 U.S.C. 1001, et seq.). SEC. 2. PAYMENT OF EXPENSES. 40 USC 1003 note. The United States shall not pay any expense of the establishment of the memorial. Approved August 10, 1990.
