(a) CONSTRUCTION AND ACQUISITION.—Using amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appropriations in section 2305(a)(8)(A), the Secretary of the Air Force may construct or acquire military family housing units (including land) and perform other military family housing functions for the purpose shown, and in the amount shown, at the following installations: (1) Eklwards Air Force Base, California, housing office, $453,000. (2) Tjmdall Air Force Base, Florida, housing maintenance facility, $410,000. (3) Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, housing office, $550,000. (4) Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, housing office, $571,000. (5) Sejmiour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, housing office, $365,000. (6) Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, housing office, $370,000. (7) Hill Air Force Base, Utah, one hundred thirty units, $11,628,000. (b) PLANNING AND DESIGN.—Using amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appropriations in section 2305(a)(8)(A), the Secretary of the Air Force may carry out architectural and engineering services and construction design activities with respect to the construction or improvement of military family housing units in an amount not to exceed $6,000,000. SEC. 2303. IMPROVEMENT TO MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING UNITS. Subject to section 2825 of title 10, United States Code, and using amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appropriations in section 2305(a)(8)(A), the Secretary of the Air Force may improve existing military family housing units in an amount not to exceed $141,236,000. SEC. 2304. DEFENSE ACCESS ROADS. Using amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appropriations in section 2305(a)(7), the Secretary of the Air Force may make advances to the Secretary of Transportation for the construction of defense roads under section 210 of title 23, United States Code, at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, and Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, in the total amount of $11,050,000. SEC. 2305. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS, AIR FORCE. (a) IN GENERAL.—Funds are hereby authorized to be appropriated for fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1991, for military construction, land acquisition, and military family housing functions of the Department of the Air Force in the total amount of $2,089,303,000, as follows: (1) For military construction projects inside the United States authorized by section 2301(a), $778,970,000. (2) For military construction projects outside the United States authorized by section 2301(b), $59,500,000. (3) For the construction of the Large Rocket Test Facility, Arnold Engineering Development Center, Tennessee, as au-
