(15) Chapter 115 of title 28, United States Code, is amended— (A) in the item relating to section 1744 in the table of sections by striking "Patent Office" and inserting "United States Patent and Trademark Office"; (B) in section 1744— (i) by striking "Patent Office" each place it appears in the text and section heading and inserting "United States Patent and Trademark Office"; and (ii) by striking "Commissioner of Patents" and inserting "Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office"; and (C) by striking "Commissioner" and inserting "Director".
