SEC. 126. LOCAL PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS.
Section 206(a) of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (42 U.S.C. 5116e(a)) is amended— (1) in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking ‘‘prevention-focused, family resource and support programs’’ and inserting ‘‘and prevention-focused programs and activities designed to strengthen and support families to prevent child abuse and neglect’’; (2) in paragraph (3)(B), by inserting ‘‘voluntary home visiting and’’ after ‘‘including’’; and (3) by striking paragraph (6) and inserting the following: ‘‘(6) participate with other community-based and prevention-focused programs and activities designed to strengthen and support families to prevent child abuse and neglect in the development, operation and expansion of networks where appropriate.’’.
