Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United J. M. Lord. States of America in. Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Inte- _R¤¤¢¤1‘¢d *0 P¤¤- rior be, and he is hereby, directed to restore John M. Lord, late a. second “"“"°u· lieutenant in Company A, Third Regiment of Indiana Volunteers, in the war with Mexico, to the pension·roll, to take eifect of the date of March fourth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, subject to the provisions of the pension-laws. Approved, June 18, 1878. June 18, 1878. CHAP. 289.-An act granting an increase of pension to Theodore Gardner Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United T.Gai·o¤er. States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the _ Increased p on- Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the °*°'* *°· pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension-laws, the name of Theodore Gardner, late sergeant First Battery, Kansas Volunteers, at the rate of eight dollars per month, in lieu of the pension he now receives.
