All orders or secret societies, such as Masons Odd Fel- “ "lows, Druids, Knights of Pythias, Ancient Order of United lWorkmen, Modern Woodmen of America and other benevolent, fraternal, or cooperative societies associated or incorporated for the sole plurpose of mutual protection and relief of its members only, and for the pay- ment of stipulated sums of money to the families of deceased members, or for property of its members only destroyed by Bre, are hereby declared not to be Bre or insurance companies in the sense and meaning of this chapter, and they are exempt from the provisions hereof. vgigIj;l;{>l;;¤),·;,b°V¤Pw· Ec. 363. The provisions of this chapter, under either term or des- ` ignation of company, corporation, association, Brm, or individual in either case, where either term or` designation is used, shall aipplg to any insurer, company, corporation, association, Brm. or in 1vi ual engaged as in urers or who may hereafter engage as insurers in the district, or who may en age in offering or affording indemnity against the casualties of Bre ordife. m§$;¤¤l*>‘ f°= V*<>l¤· Sec. 364. Any oiizicer, agent, or employee of any insurance com- ' panly or other person violating any of the provisions of this chapter sha . be Bned not less than one hundred nor more than Bve hun red dollars, and in default of payment of such Bne shall be imprisoned not less than ten days nor more than six months. - ’ Fmfcr mms- Sec. 365.
