C,,,,O,, N,,,O,,,,1Fo,_ Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the wg $10- e of lands United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary mtulifiliituomee. of the Interior be, and hereb is, authorized in his discretion to accept on behalf of the Unitedl States title to any lands within the Carson National Forest, New Mexico, if in the opinion of the Secretaréy of Agriculture the public interests will be benefited thereby an the lands are chiefly valuable for national forest purposes, and in exchanfge therefor may give not to exceed an equal value of such national orest lands or timber within the said national forest as may lzge ldetfrmined by the Secretary of Agriculture and the Secrewhe r<>¤¤<>v¤¤- t o the nterior. m' m'¥imber given and the timber on lands given in such exchanges shall be cut and removedunder the laws_and regulations relating to the national forests, and under the direction and supervision and in accordance with the requirements of the Secretary of Agri- ,d’§‘Q;°$,1j‘f,,‘?2¤2‘l“$,,°g‘lf" culture.
