United States of America in Congress assembled, That any excess Vol.44,p. 708. amounts paid by the purchasers of certain town lots in the town site of Bowdoin, Montana, and authorized to be repaid by the Act of Congress approved June 8, 1926 (Forty-fourth Statutes, page 708), shall, upon certification by the Secretary of the Interior, be paid by the Secretary of the Treasury in all cases where the application for refund is received on or prior to June 8, 1929 . A oun t aut hor iz ed States o f America in Congress assembled, That $25,000, or so much m for main tena nce of th ereof as may be ne cessa ry, pa yable in like manner as other ceremonies . during the appropriations for the expenses of the District of Columbia, is hereby po st, p . 1629. authorized to be appropriated to enable the Commissioners of the District of Columbia to maintain public order and protect life and property in said District from the 28th of February to the 10th of m5oh a=isyofthecom- March, 1929, both in clusive, inclu ding the empl oyment of pers onal services, payment of allowances, traveling expenses, hire of means of transportation, cost of removing and relocating street car loading platforms, and other incidental expenses in the discretion of the Regulations to be commissioners . Said commissioners are hereby authorized and made. directed to make all reasonable regulations necessary to secure such preservation of public order and protection of life and property, and to make special regulations respecting the standing, movements, and operating of vehicles of whatever character or kind during said Lice nses to p eddl ers, etc
