It is under- stood that it is the intention of the Royal Norwegian Government to arrange, if necessary by proposal for an amendment of existing legis- lation, that exemption from taxation be granted and that other bur- dens affecting entry, travel and residence in Norway for citizens of the United States who participate in educational activities on behalf of the United States Educational Foundation in Norway be removed to the same extent that Norwegian citizens in the United States en- gaged in similar activities are granted such privileges.
