Palmetto. —·—-;···—·—· Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That there be issued, _ Aregimr t¤b¢ under the direction of the Secretary of the Treasury, a register for the ‘”““d‘ brig Palmetto, formerly a vessel called the Roger Bontemps, but now owned by Moses D. Hyams, S. B. Barnard, James Vidal, and A. H. Abraham, of the State of South Carolina; and which said vessel, having been condemned at Charleston, in said State, in consequence of injuries sustained at sea, was purchased by them, and which they have repaired and refitted for sea again : Provided, It shall be proved Proviso as to to the satisfaction of the Secretary of the Treasury that the cost of the °°“ °f'°P”"”· repairs made in the United States, after the purchase of the said vessel by the present owners, exceeds three fourths of the original cost of building a vessel of the same tonnage in the United States. XXXIV.-.611 Act to change the Name of Photius Kavasales to that of May 3, 1g4g_ Photius Fisk. —-——-—-—— Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives J the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Photius Kava- photiu, Kay¤_ sales, a chaplain in the navy of the United States, of the District of Sales may take Columbia, be, and he is hereby, authorized, from and after the passage °fPh°° of this act, to take and use the name of Photius Fisk; and that the name of said Photius Kavasales be hereafter Photius Fisk: by which name all acts and engagements done or made by him may be enforced, and have the same effect and operation in law, as if his name had originally been Photius Fisk.
