Darting, uncommon ; plentiful in thatch about Haslemere badiella, Hb. Reigate, Redhill, Croydon Downs, Haslemere ; formerly at Barnes Common pastinacella, Dup. Guildford, Mickleham, Haslemere ; scarce heracleana, Petiver. Common everywhere among cow parsnep Psoricoptera gibbosella, Zell. Haslemere, on oak trunks Gelechia cinerella, Linn.
