Can't get the RunningHeader centered, although I'm using the correct template (am I?) and it works on the pages with the page-numbers on the left side. Any clues? Tromaster (talk) 18:23, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

When you use {{running header}}, it divides the header area up into x parts, where x is the number of parameters you pass to it, each of which gets an equal share of the width. So the first edit you had {{RunningHeader||INTRODUCTION.|iii|}}, four parts. The first one was empty, the second one contained INTRODUCTION, the third one contained iii, and the fourth one was empty. So what you ended up with was the INTRODUCTION and the iii having middle slots and some blank space on the edges where the empty slots were. The second edit you had {{RunningHeader|INTRODUCTION.|iii|}} , three parts. First one was INTRODUCTION, second one was iii, third one was empty. So you had INTRODUCTION on the left, iii in the middle, and the right side blank. What you want to do is to divide it into three parts, make the first (left) one blank, the second one INTRODUCTION, and the third one iii. So, {{RunningHeader||INTRODUCTION.|iii}} .
