@Hesperian: Hey, how are you. I've been finding a lot of photographs like these, 'haunts', nest sites in herbage, and landscapes like this pair, and I thought this might be your cup of tea. I will get around to improving these when I upgrade from vintage tech, slowly limping along for the time being. There are a couple of contributors in this series worth reading, for observations aside from birds, their remarks provide some reasonably objective reporting; at least I hope it is. Notes from bankrobbers about flora, fauna and the landscape, that I have seen repeated verbatim in later works; this is how I have been amusing myself.
