South Africa Act, 1909
enacted by the Parliament of the United Kingdom and amended by the Parliament of South Africa
as at 13 April 1977

This is the text of the South Africa Act, 1909, as at 13 April 1977, that being the date on which the Pre-Union Statute Law Revision Act, 1977, was published and came into force. The majority of the provisions of this act had previously been repealed by the Republic of South Africa Constitution Act, 1961. The last remaining provision of the Act in this version was repealed on 1 June 1979 by section 86 of the Attorneys Act, 1979.

Advocates and attorneys.

115. (3) All attorneys entitled to practise before any provincial division of the Supreme Court of South Africa shall be entitled to practise before the Appellate Division.
