Dr Robert Poole was the son of Richard Poole and Johanna Duvall of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, USA. His Brother Richard Benjamin Poole remained in Maryland and the family line grew to include 2 sons of Richard Benjamin Poole, Joseph and John, who started a new town, "Poolesville" in Fredrick County (now Montgomery County) Maryland, USA in 1760. The parents of Richard Poole (Dr Robert Poole's father) have not been discovered. Dr Robert Poole married Anne Gower (1709-1765)and had children Sarah Poole (1743-1768) Anne Poole (1745-1748) and Samuel Gower Poole (1748-?) —unsigned comment by 108.8.6.105 (talk) .
