Mark Twain ??[edit]
FYI, you are confusing Mark Twain with Joan of Arc's apostle, The Sieur Louis De Conte, Joan's personal page and secretary, childhood friend, and was with Joan from beginning to end, who, at the age of 82, in the year 1492, wrote his Recollections of Joan of Arc. This work is in the public domain. Translated out of the ancient French into English. And may be freely circulated. 72.181.129.64 15:35, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

I could not find a Wikisource or Wikipedia article on the "Rehabilitation trial" or "Rehabilitation process", but did find http://www.jeanne-darc.dk which contains "Various materials including a complete English translation of the rehabilitation trial transcript". I created commons:Category:Personal recollections of Joan of Arc and added several alternate edits. The details of my attempts are in the File's description, in theory I was trying to 'separate the ink from the page.' I got these from an alternate source, different copies of the same work are available, mine were from a very interesting first edition (magazine reprint) which contains additional images (right). Some scans were cruddy, even when viewed as jpg at the online viewer, and those without library stamp's punch-marks may have been appropriated by Ortonesque borrowers. 'clean text'[edit]
There are a number of links being made to wikipedia from this document. Wikipedia has factual and referenced articles on the general subjects, the concepts and people are linked where appropriate by that community, a process facilitated by its much larger review structures. The work itself has an wikipedia article. Twain's work is a fictionalised account, a sober authority in one sense, but only one. Placing links in source texts is conceptually barren, a distraction, and is a subjective inclusion that is not intended by the author: a reference to a dynamic document, an online encyclopædia. Attempting to reverse this reference, from a site with referents (clean texts), as a directory to those articles, a site with references (wikipedia's articles), is unsustainable (I will get around to writing an essay on why).
