Most important stuff[edit]

I'd like to say that the work put into this is superb and I (as well as many others I'm sure) really appreciate it. Perhaps I could suggest, the section on volume I, V. Prosecution and Declination Decisions I think is the next most important. Really appreciate the effort, and will be great to see it finished. Wikidea (talk) 11:52, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Appendices[edit]

To elevate into this TOC or not? Sj (talk) 12:39, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Are you suggesting we should add an {{Auxiliary Table of Contents}} at the bottom of the front page TOC? If so, that seems like a worthwhile addition to me. -Pete (talk) 17:31, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Attempted. I'd prefer a format matching the rest, but this works. Sj (talk) 18:14, 4 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
It looks good, but I'd argue in the other direction -- I think it's important to clearly express to the reader when the Wikisource transcription diverges from the original publication. An advantage of the template linked above is that it clearly states that the chapters are not listed in the original. For instance, here: The Whitman Controversy
I understand the value of having a consistent TOC that does not make such distinctions, but I'm not sure that Wikisource is the place for such a version. -Pete (talk) 20:05, 5 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
