Propaganda during the 2nd Boer War[edit]
One has to remember the time during which this this was published. In 1900 shortly after the outbreak of the 2nd Anglo Boer War. During this time, many countries were against the British military campaign in South Africa. One has to take what is written by George Lacy with a pinch of salt, its a monumental work regarding propaganda against the Boers in a time when kinship between the Dutch and the Boers were at a high. Publications such as this was meant establish a scorched view of the Boers in order to distract attention from the British war effort. Opposed to publications such as this there were also Pro Boer propaganda during the time. Although this surely is an offensive article, its noting more than propaganda of the time. The racist that wrote this ariticle,obviously had a agenda! This is the biggest load of BS written by a no name brand propagandist! These characters writing these lies, don’t care about the real truth.
