Regarding

"This template is for displaying the Latin charset ligature AE: Æ, to support functionality for automatically turning on and off the display of ligatures."

I don't see how this can ever work, simply because we would want to map

"ÆSTIVATION" to "AESTIVATION"; i.e. "Æ" to "AE"

but

"Æstivation" to "Aestivation"; i.e. "Æ" to "Ae"

There doesn't seem to be any solution to this so long as this template lacks parameters. Hesperian 23:56, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
