SAN JOSÉ DE BUENA VISTA, sän Hṓ-sā′ dắ bwā′nȧ-vēs′tȧ. The capital of the Province of Antique, in Panay, Philippines (Map: Philippine Islands, F 9). It is on the coast in the southern part of the province, is a port of entry, and has an active coasting trade with Iloilo. Population, estimated, in 1899, 5621.
