YEGORYEVSK, ye-gōr′yĕfsk. A district town in the Government of Ryazan, Central Russia, about 60 miles southeast of Moscow (Map: Russia, E 3). It is an industrial town and has extensive cotton mills with an annual output valued at about $5,000,000. Population, in 1897, 19,241.
