In the Picture Gallery at Oxford, is placed the Portrait of Mr. Pope, with this Inscription:

INVIDENDAM ATTVLIT DIGNITATIS
ACCESSIONEM,
EFFIGIEM DEDIT,
ET VIRVM COHONESTAVIT,

EDWARDVS COMES OXON. ET MORTIMER.
