Translation:Mishnah/Seder Nashim/Tractate Sotah/Chapter 2/4

He cannot write on a board and not on paper, and not on unprocessed skin, rather on a scroll, as it states: (Numbers 5, 23) "In the book." And he may not write in gum, and not in vitriol, and not in anything that leaves a mark, only in ink, as it states: (Same) "And he shall dissolve" - and he writes that which is able to be dissolved.
