IX.
In the name of the great life.

Of myrtle and origanum
I wound a wreath
And laid it on the head of Jāwar,
the king of the Uthras.

I said to him:
"Rejoice, Jāwar, rejoice,
rejoice in your garland.
Rejoice, Jāwar, rejoice,
Rejoice in the cloud of splendor created for you.
Rejoice, Jāwar, rejoice,
Rejoice in the kingship bestowed upon you.
Rejoice, Jāwar, rejoice,
rejoice in the jordans that have been drawn to you.
Rejoice, Jāwar, rejoice,
Rejoice in the brightness of Sarhath,
which has been created for you,
which moves and walks in your glorious Jordan."
