XXIII.

In the name of life.

The precious you are,

son of the white sesame,

son of the bank of the Euphrates,

son of the ear of the Jordan,

son of the water pits,

son of the treasures of light.

Life laid its hand on you,

and sent you into this world, which is all birth,

to heal, to bring up, to raise up and to relieve

all pains, plagues, chastisements, labor pains and curses,

the 7 mysteries that are seated in the body.

I swear to you, I swear to you, oil, by life,

by Manda d-Haijē, by the Uthras,

the sons of salvation, and by that foreign man,

dear, wondrous and perfect,

who cried out to the men of proven righteousness,

the sons of light, saying to them:

"Pray to me the precious oil,

the son of the white sesame,

the son of the bank of the Euphrates,

the son of the ear of the Jordan,

the son of the water pits,

the son of the treasures of light.

Anoint, and I will give you oil,

oil of splendor, light and glory.

The oil with which I anointed and which I gave was

not in the name of the Astarte of the temple,

no, the oil with which I anointed

and which I gave was in my name,

for my sign and in the name

and for the sign of the living, shining, resplendent, shining tribe.

Everyone who sprinkles this oil will live, find healing and endure.

Like Enōš it will be for his body,

From it will spring and go forth

the 7 treasures of death and the 8 ... of darkness.
