XLIX.
In the name of the alien life.
This is the splendor and light of life.
When the spirit and the soul leave the body
and the soul of life is clothed with the garment of life...
the image of life,
which came from the tear of life,
is in the external life,
in Hauraran-Karkawan-Zīwā,
in the treasure of light,
the great rest and support of life,
in the life, which came from life, the Kuštā,
which has always been in the beginning.
The life is in its Škīnā,
the great light in the victories.
When anyone leaves his body,
the 7 figures of the deity come to meet him,
and each one lines up with the one belonging to him.
The solver Saurēl comes,
who detaches the spirit and soul from the body,
he stands above those works with the robes of Jōzataq Mandā d-Haijē.
Hauraran-Karkawan-Zīwā takes away from the soul
what is in it of physical things is.
She dresses herself with the garments of Jōzataq Mandā d-Haijē.
Dress upon dress she puts on,
dress upon dress she puts on.
When she puts on the garments of Jōzataq Mandā d-Haijē,
she laughs, rejoices, skips, jumps,
is proud and well pleased with the glorious honor ... rests honor.
She walks in the clothes of Jōzataq Mandā d-Haijē.
When the planets beheld her from her place,
they were ashamed, clenched their fists,
beat the atria of their chests, and said,
"Woe to the planets that they were defeated
while the works of their hands were victorious."
Further they say:
"How beautiful is this splendor,
how bright this light,
how lovely this ornament,
how wondrous this image".
Further they say:
"Who will clothe us with this splendor,
who will cover us with this light,
who will put on us from this ornament,
who will pass something of this image on our face?
For beautiful, shining and bright it is,
and there are no works in this world like it".
They further say,
"How good is the Kuštā for the good
and Mandā d-Haijē for all the elect who stand in her body
and seek enlightenment in the name of life."
She walks in the robes of Jozataq Mandā d-Haijē,
she passes by those works,
by the hands of all planets.
I went and reached the guardhouse
of the old, high, hidden, kept Abathur.
There the scales are erected,
and before him spirits and souls are questioned
about their name, their sign,
their blessing, their baptism and what else is in them.
The soul of the NN entered the house of Abathur
and gave its name, its sign, its blessing,
its baptism and whatever else is in it.
The souls of our fathers are marked with the sign of life;
the name of life and the name of the Mandā d-Haijē is pronounced over them.
They were brought into the scales,
works and reward were brought in and weighed.
Of the perfect ones, the spirit entered with the soul,
and they were let out pure of sin.
They brought out splendor from the shine of Abathur
and clothed them with it,
brought light and covered them with it.
(The soul) puts on robe upon robe,
puts on robe upon robe.
When it puts on the robes of Abathur
it laughs and rejoices, leaps and jumps,
is proud and cheerful about the glorious honor ... rests honor.
She walks in the robes of Jōzaṭaq Mandā d-Haijē.
I went and arrived at the guardhouse of the 4 men,
the sons of salvation, Īn-Hai, Šum-Hai, Zīw-Hai, Nhūr-Hai.
Each one clothes the soul with his splendor,
each one covers it with his light.
Robe upon robe she puts on,
robe upon robe she puts on.
When she puts on the robes of the sons of salvation,
she laughs and rejoices, leaps and jumps,
is proud and cheerful about the glorious honor ... rests honor.
She walks in the robes of Jōzataq Mandā d-Haijē.
I went and arrived at the streams of water.
It covered the water.
The shining being penetrated,
his name rested in his Škīnā.
It called itself Expensive, Chosen.
It spoke:
"Life, I am yours.
Because of thy name I came from the world of Ptahil,
rom the midst of the evil plans and below the throne of old Abathur".
He goes out to meet this soul of the NN,
an effluence of the great splendor of life is he,
the man who rests above the Škīnās,
whose name rests over the Škīnās.
He grasps the soul by the flat of the right hand
and hands it over to the two Uthras,
the sons of light, Adatan and Jadatan,
of one knowledge, of one mind.
Adatan and Jadatan hand it over to the two Uthras,
Oṣar-Hai and Ptā-Hai, who create the creation of life,
plant the plantation of light
and found the first image of the house of life.
They raised her the arm of life,
they introduced her into the image of life,
they supported her in the place
where splendor flames like light.
The spirit of the NN went,
became like the soul
and found continuance in the house of the life.
And the life is victorious.
