Paragraph 1 - If a non-Jew lives with two Jews and the non-Jew is not in his house, he does not render them forbidden (and see above chapter 371). They can make an eruv and be permitted. If the non-Jews comes on Shabbat, he renders them forbidden, and the eruv is null. However, they can rent from him on Shabbat, and afterwards one will renounce his property to the other and the first one will be permitted. This is even more true if the idolator dies on Shabbat; one can renounce his property to the other, who will then be permitted.

סעיף א - אינו יהודי הדר עם שני ישראלים ואין האינו יהודי בביתו, אינו אוסר (ועין לעיל סימן שע"א), ויערבו ויהיו מתרים. בא האינו יהודי בשבת, אוסר והערוב בטל. ומיהו יכולים לשכר ממנו בשבת, ואחר כך יבטל האחד לחברו ויהיה היחיד מתר. וכל שכן אם מת העובד כוכבים בשבת שיבטל אחד לחברו ויהיה היחיד מתר.
