The Law of a Sadducee or Apostate and Eruvs	דין צדוקי ומומר בערוב
Paragraph 1 - A Sadducee is like a Jew in that he renounces his property, but his eruv is not functional because he does not believe in eruvs.	סעיף א - צדוקי הרי הוא כישראל ומבטל רשות, אבל ערוב אינו מועיל כיון שאינו מודה בערוב.
Paragraph 2 - A Cuthean is like a member of any other nation, and he can do nothing but rent.	סעיף ב - כותי הרי הוא כשאר עמים, ואין לו תקנה אלא בשכירות.
Paragraph 3 - A Jew who apostatized and worships idols or desecrates Shabbat in public, even if he only breaks rabbinic prohibitions, is treated like an idolater. If he only desecrates Shabbat in private, even if he breaks Toraitic prohibitions, he is treated like a Jew and can renounce property.	סעיף ג - ישראל מומר לעבודת אלילים או לחלל שבתות בפרהסיא, אפלו אינו מחללו אלא באסור דרבנן הרי הוא כעובד אלילים. ואם אינו מחלל אלא בצנעה, אפלו מחללו באוסר דאוריתא הרי הוא כישראל ומבטל רשות.
Paragraph 4 - If a Jew apostatized and he had houses in a Jewish neighborhood that participated in the eruv for the whole year and he has no other exit [from his house besides for into the Jewish yard], he renders the Jews forbidden for every Shabbat after his apostatizing. However, if he has a different exit to the non-Jewish neighborhood, even a small exit that he never used initially, [the Jews] force him to use the exit open to the non-Jew neighborhood.	סעיף ד - ישראל שהמיר והיו לו בתים בשכונת ישראל שערבו לכל השנה, אם אין לו פתח אחר כלל הוא אוסר בכל שבת שחל לאחר שהמיר, אבל אם יש לו פתח אחר לשכונת האינו יהודי, אפלו הוא פתח קטן שלא היה רגיל בו מתחלה, דוחין אותו אצל פתח הפתוח לשכונת האינו יהודי.
