"now does it pity you nothing ... of your sweet little friend". Yes, miserere can mean 'pity', but 'pity' cannot be used thus in English. One can pity someone, but not pity someone nothing of someone. Dioskolos (talk) 08:58, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
