Chap. XII.An Act to suspend for a limited time the recruiting service.

Act of April 12, 1808, ch. 43.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That so much of the act entituled “An act to raise for a limited time an additional military force,” as authorizes the enlisting of men for the term of five years, unless sooner discharged, be and the same is hereby suspended until twenty days after the next meeting of Congress.
