I've joined the Wikisource back in April 2007, after contributing to Wikipedia for over a year. I found out about Wikisource around the time when was working on Wikipedia articles about the Kars Treaty and the Azerbaijani Genocide. Meanwhile, in the interest of full disclosure, I've been banned (along with several others from an opposite group) for one year in English Wikipedia due to a decision by the Armenia-Azerbaijan Arbcom. Although I strongly disagree with the decision of the Arbcom in my regards, and consider it to be unfair and susceptible to special interest groups, at the same time my trademark contribution style of using only valid proofs and facts, should make me feel at home here, and be a testament to the greater Wiki community that my active presence is a plus and a win-win for all Wiki projects. Moreover, Wikisource is different and separate from Wikipedia, and should be treated as such by all, myself included. I have been preparing several interesting documents for upload to Wikisource, as well as helping to improve the already existing documents, so hope to be a little more active now. I think the idea of Wikisource is wonderful, as it not only preserves human knowledge and helps researchers, but leaves out, at least as I can see it, the possibility for bias, prejudice and negative influence of special interest groups, that rock the foundation of other projects elsewhere.
