Concentration Camps during WWII

My Mother was born and grew up in Belgium which was a nation that bordered to Germany and was occupied by them several times. She told me the following:
She had a Uncle that was active in the Belgium Underground. He was caught and put in a very small box made out of chicken wire. It was small enough that those who occupied these boxes soon discovered that they were small enough to prevent the occupants from being able to either stand up or lay down straight.
She told our family that they fed him something that resembled chicken soup except for it was more of a broth that had very small pieces of barbed wire cut up in the broth. The whole idea was for the prisoners to eat this broth and for the the small pieces of wire to cut up their digestive track so they would die a very slow and painful manner.
She told us these stories and how she used to visit him in his very small box. She was also a member of the Belgium Underground but fortunately was never caught or I would not exist today.
I'm sure that many people have stories about how their loved ones were treated and forced to die in a very slow and painful manner.

[edit]The family history you've described is very powerful, but unfortunately Wikisource does not support its editors in creating new sources. Wikisource is a library of already published books and documents which are either freely licenced or in the public domain.
There are, however, other sites which allow you to contribute personal stories, notably WikiTree, a family history/genealogy website, which by adding to you will help add depth to what's known of the life of your mother's uncle, for all people and all time.
