University of Heidelberg

[edit]

Hi! I am told that you are the go-to person for any query related to GLAM activities of Wikimedia Germany. I am wondering if WMDE supports book digitisation (which is essential for Wikisource) in partnership with German Universities. If yes then I am especially interested in the English Books from British India collection from the Savifa Virtual Library South Asia, University of Heidelberg. I dropped an E-Mail to their Contact person Nicole Merkel a month or so ago for uploading their collection to the Internet Archive for Djvu conversion, but no response from them so far.
