hi, sorry to undo your edit. keep in mind you are copy editing a book from 100 years ago. we are trying to reflect the text accurately, including the spelling errors and factual mistakes. we normally make a note in the header of the article. hope you stay around and edit other things of interest to you. should really have a wikipedia article about him, will get around to it.
