I am quite sure it is a copyright violation, as I really did look for a loophole. The Smithsion Institute not part of the federal gov't, despite the fact that it's board is appointed by Congress. If it were, they would not have been able to copyright it in the first place. I believe you misunderstood some of the PD tags. The 70+ years tag does not refer to how old a work is. It means the author of the work has been dead for 70+ years. Mr Snodgrass died in 1962. So that does not apply to this and only would if he were a UK citizen anyways. --BirgitteSB 23:12, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

I know it is quite frustrating. I looked at the archive website and on their "book info" page about that book, they list it as published in 1922. However that is not true. I looked it up on Berkley's Copyright database and it was first published in 1930. So either they were decieved or else someone decided to fudge it by evtering incorrect info into that form.--BirgitteSB 02:04, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
