Edward Bradley
(1827–1889)

English novelist and clergyman; wrote under the pen name "Cuthbert Bede, B.A.". Many of his works were illustrated by himself. His most popular books were The Adventures of Mr. Verdant Green, on the experiences of an Oxford undergraduate, and its sequels; The celebrated illustrations to the series being his.
